Peter Jackson Blogs Final Day Of Hobbit Shooting

Director shares pictures and behind-the-scenes info on Facebook...

The Hobbitmovie trilogy today.
The filmmaker has been posting updates on his Facebook page as the crew prepare to wrap on the set of The Hobbit: There And Back Again in New Zealand.
And the 51 year old, who also directed the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, got an early start - making his first post at 6.30am local time.

He told Facebook users that he was hoping to give them "a feeling for what we deal with on an average day".
And he added: "When I'm shooting I have a funny superstition about wearing pretty much the same wardrobe every day. Last year I bought two shirts when I went to ComicCon. A white one, and a blue one.
"Today feels like a white day."
He also posted a picture of dawn over Wellington and later shared a series of snaps from the set, writing: "The day has a messy start, because the first couple of hours are going to be spent shooting stuff we were supposed to have finished yesterday.
"But because of the sheer complexity of the choreography, we worked late, and still didn't finish."
The first episode of the trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, was released last December - and The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug is due out this December
