A fresh batch of seven character posters for The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug has been released.

Depicting most of the movie's main characters, there are images for Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellen) and Legolas (Orlando Bloom).
Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) also gets a poster - as do new characters Bard (Luke Evans), Thranduil (Lee Pace) and Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly).

The follow-up to last year's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the movie will see brave halfling Bilbo attempting to get the dwarves' gold back from dragon Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch).
The movie is set for release on 13 December - with the final instalment of the trilogy coming in 2014.
