Julianne Moore Cast In Hunger Games Mockingjay
Actress will take on the role of President Alma Coin in the final two flicks…
Academy Award-nominated actress Julianne Moore will appear as President Alma Coin in the final two instalments of The Hunger Games.
Film studio Lionsgate confirmed the casting news today (September 13), revealing that the star will appear in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay parts one and two.

The role of Coin is a central one as the franchise comes to a close, as she is the President of District 13 where much of Panem's rebellion takes place.
Moore's announcement is the latest in a string of Mockingjay castings revealed over the past few weeks.
Game of Thrones star [uuid=389a5282-a1ab-4113-b608-b33c794cc2b5]Natalie Dormer[/uuid], former 90210 star [uuid=17e901d9-7b73-43da-90c3-c1531035f2e3]Evan Ross[/uuid] and Australian newcomer [uuid=ce9698dd-d683-4df9-84a2-458f4caed943]Stef Dawson[/uuid] will all be taking on roles.
The second film in the franchise The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will have its [uuid=a25ce29f-1f84-480f-bbee-87cb63e19ce3]world premiere in London on November 11[/uuid], while the final two films are slated for release in 2014 and 2015.
