The Janoskians Cause Havoc In London!

REVIEW: Aussie group bring their Not A Boyband tour to Hammersmith...

Last Sunday (May 26), The Janoskians #NotAboyband world tour hit the Apollo in Hammersmith for the London leg of their sold out tour and MTV News UK were lucky enough to hang out with the pranksters for the day!
The Australian five-some caused mayhem as thousands of female fans descended on Heathrow airport, Leicester Square and at the venue.

For those who aren't familiar with The Janoskians (where the hell have you been!) the group is made up of Beau Brooks and his younger twin brothers, Jai and Luke Brooks, Daniel Sahyounie a.k.a Skip and James Yammouni.
Feeling: One word to describe the crowd – crazy. From the moment we arrived in Leicester Square hundreds of female fans screamed and even cried as they chanted for their beloved Janoskians. When the boys left the hotel, their tour bus was surrounded by adorning girls who ran with them unaware of the oncoming cars.
Upon arrival the Apollo, again hundreds of girls eagerly awaited the arrival of the group. Decibels were at an all-time high as they screamed and sang outside. The show itself was an escalated version of all this as fans couldn’t stay seated.
The Look: The set was simple with a huge screen accompanying each act. Social networking is key to the show seeing as the guys found fame on YouTube. They adapted the social-networking platforms into the whole show, which resulted in the guy’s trending worldwide on Twitter.

Tunes: As stated, they are Not A Boyband so it wasn’t just singing. They did however open with a DJ set to get the crowd going (although they were already riled up). They sang their own tracks Set This World On Fire and their latest iTunes single Best Friends. They also gave their own rendition of some popular hits such as Justin Bieber's Baby, Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe and One Direction's What Makes You Beautiful. They also spiced up their set with some famous Janoskian fun and games!
Special Guests: During the show, British act Mazzi Maz made an appearance on stage for a special Q&A with the Janoskians. The opening act, US band Hollywood Ending, also added some rock to well-known pop songs, as well as performing their own tracks.
Banter: It was great fun and an exciting show from the word go. The banter set off from Leicester Square and continued well into the night and even after the boys had left the venue. Twitter exploded from the abundance of tweets from fans and resulted in overnight trending.
Sweat Factor: The venue was well air conditioned but the topless acts and cheeky dance moves couldn’t help but turn the heat up and set pulses racing.

Summary:
We weren’t expecting the madness that follows The Janoskians but it was hugely enjoyable and an unexpected show. Watch out One Direction, you may lose some fans!
