Zelda: Breath Of The Wild's First DLC Revealed And It Will Change How You Play
Here’s what’s coming in the first update for the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild .
Nintendo has outlined what’s coming in the first of two The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC packs.
The first DLC pack, The Master Trials, is expected to released in the next few months and will only be available as part of the season pass.
New feature Hero’s Path Mode highlights what you’ve done in the last 200 hours of gameplay, giving you the opportunity to retrace your steps in places where your exploration hasn’t been as in-depth as you would like, plus the Travel Medallion permits an extra cheeky fast travel spot anywhere on the map (you can only have one at a time, though!).
Also new is Trial of the Sword (previously known as the Cave of Trials), a 45-room horde-like challenge that throws you into combat without weapons or armour. Getting to the end rewards you with the Master Sword, which will “always be in its glowing, powered-up state”.
Already finished BotW? Well, Ninty’s now introduced Hard Mode in which enemies have all been boosted to the next power level, and their health bar automatically regenerates health, too.
Oh, and there’s a lot of new chests and gear, too, all based on prior Zelda games, so expect to find Majora’s Mask and Midna’s Helmet, amongst others, plus the Korok Mask, which lets you know when a Korok is nearby.
If you've already picked up a Nintendo Switch, here’s 18 games out RIGHT NOW that you'll want to play immediately. And in Pokemon Go news, check out this simple hack to evolve Eevee into rare Pokemon.
