A Lego Movie 2 Game Is Coming And We're Already Bricking It
Brickin' it!
The Lego Movie 2 video game is coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox One in February, 2019, tying in with the release of the movie on 8 February.
Once again, Lego has teamed up with developer TT Games to make its brick-shaped dreams a reality and has confirmed the new game will be based on the events of the film itself. We'll meet old friends and new, as well as collect items and build, of course!
"The much-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed, global box office phenomenon that started it all, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city," says a statement on the official YouTube channel. "It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: Lego Duplo invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild."

"The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are."
We should expect to see Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy/Wyldstyle, Will Arnett as Lego Batman, Nick Offerman as Metal Beard, and Alison Brie as Unikitty, as well as meet new characters Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi (Tiffany Haddish), Sweet Mayhem (Stephanie Beatriz) and Ice Cream Cone (Arturo Castro).
