Libertines to Reunite at Glastonbury?
Don't look back into the mud! Could it be an acoustic reunion
Pete Doherty and Carl Barat are considering reuniting The Libertines at Glastonbury later this week, according to tabloid reports.
If todays Daily Mirror is to be believed, Pete and Carl, who are both scheduled to play on the Acoustic Stage on Saturday, will bring together their acoustic performances, resulting in a big old Libertines love-in.
"The lads have been talking about it for months, an insider tells the Mirror. "Although they've both got their own bands now, neither has had anything like the acclaim The Libertines had.
"Pete and Carl are still arguing about what songs they're going to perform - but whatever they settle on, it'll be incredible."
The Libertines split back in 2004. Since then Pete and Carl have been busy with Babyshambles, Dirty Pretty Things, and getting hammered.
Click back later for official word from the Doherty/Barat camps. Iif we can get one. They're probably all busy getting hammered.
