The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Gets New Trailer!

A new UK trailer for eagerly anticipated flick Lily Collins), whom upon her mother's disappearance is plunged into the secret universe of the Shadowhunters — a half-human, half-angel race tasked with protecting the world from dangerous demons.

Clary's ally within this society is the impossibly beautiful, yet incredibly snarky, Jace Wayland (played by Jamie Campbell-Bower). Part of a secret cadre of half-angel warriors, he is tasked with protecting humanity in an ancient battle against demonic forces.

The likes of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Robert Sheehan and Lena Headey also star in the film, which has been directed by Harold Zwart and is already being dubbed 'the new Twilight'.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is due for release in the UK on August 21.
