They were one of the "star" couples on The Only Way Is Essex back when the ITV2 scripted reality show first invaded our living rooms.

And now it looks like Lauren Pope and Kirk Norcross might be back on again - having shared a cosy-looking selfie on Instagram.

Showing her younger rivals how you really do a duckface, 32-year-old Pope nestles her head into 26-year-old Norcross' neck in the snap - which both of them have shared.

He captioned it simply "Me and my Popey" - adding a little heart afterwards.

While she made a reference to TV sitcom Keeping Up Appearances - writing: "Saturday night on the sofa with Onslow aka @kirk_8"

The romance hint follows Pope's recent split with BF Lewis Bloor, which was documented in The Only Way Is Ibiza.

Meanwhile as one door opens another closes - and it looks like it might be curtains for Chloe Sims and Elliot Wright.

A source told The Sun that they are calling time on their relationship following an attack of the green-eyed monster from Elliot over Chloe's friendship with an ex-BF.

"They're both cut up about it. They'd introduced their kids to one another and had moved in together to make it work," the mole said.

"It's not one person's decision over the other, but they have decided to take some time apart."
