Billie Faiers and her fiancé Greg Shepherd took their sweet time in picking a name for their new baby daughter.

The Only Way Is Essex star Billie and her fella have now revealed that their pride and joy is called Nelly Samantha - with her middle name being in honour of Billie's little sis.

Sam Faiers was with Billie throughout the birth of her child, and she has previously paid tribute to the help she provided.

Talking to OK Magazine, Billie explained how the first name arrived: "On Monday night Mum and I were lying in bed with the baby having a little snuggle, and Mum suddenly said: 'It's Nelly! She looks like a Nelly!' And immediately, I was like: 'Yes, that's it!' So we started calling her Nelly and instantly it clicked."

On the subject of the middle name, she said: "We thought it would be really nice for her to have Samantha as her middle name because Samantha was there when she was born.

"She formed such a close bond with Nelly straight away."
