Bad news for TOWIE fans – Danielle Armstrong has quit the show.

Viewers have been gripped by the ups and downs of Dani’s love life with on/off boyfriend James “Lockie” Lock (currently in “off” setting).

But now it seems the blonde beauty has had enough and she is taking her life out of the spotlight altogether after three years on the hit ITVBe show.

But there is hope – as it sounds Dani is leaving the door open for a possible future return.

“Dani loves TOWIE and the last thing she wants to do is leave the show,” a source told The Daily Star on Sunday.

“But she is struggling to get over James and doesn’t think she’ll be able to do that while they are constantly filming scenes together,” the source says.

“Dani knows that in order to move on and be happy she needs a proper break from James and unfortunately that means leaving the show too,” the source added.

According to reports, the star has already walked from production and won’t be in the show when it returns for a 20th series.
