The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy Mecklenburgh could be swapping Brentwood for Hollywood, having reportedly been noticed by a director while out in Cannes.
The filmmaker, Will Homan, is casting horror movie The Room - and The Sun claims that he met her for lunch with a producer and stylist last week.
A source said: "She is keeping tight-lipped about it but apparently the director loves her look and thinks she is the perfect female for an important character in his film.
"He's sending her the script and intends to fly her out to LA for an audition and to get her on tape. He says Lucy has exactly the look of the character that he imagined in his own head."
Lucy recently tweeted: "Wow sometimes dreams do come true #HappyGirl."
She split with co-star Mario Falcone [uuid=674593bc-bfb3-40df-a873-6ced09f24f5f]earlier this year[/uuid] after he was revealed to have cheated on her.
