TOWIE Cast 'Sent Warning Letters After Walkout'
Producers reported to be clamping down amid discontent among cast...
The stars of The Only Way Is Essexhave reportedly been told by show bosses to like it or lump it over their pay.
We told you recently how members of the hit ITV2 scripted reality show's cast had apparently been grumbling about being given just £80 per day - and that some of them had even walked off of a 13-hour shoot.
And now The Sun claims that production company Lime Pictures has sent warning letters to every cast member.
A source told the paper: "Bosses aren’t prepared to take any nonsense. They know some cast members have been complaining about long hours and low pay but have told them to stop whingeing and get on with it.
"Producers are particularly annoyed about time-keeping and the way some of them treat production staff. The stars have been told they have to start arriving on time and must be respectful to the crew.
"They have been told nobody is bigger than the show — and if they don't like it they should leave as there are loads of people who'd replace them in a heartbeat.
"Even though the cast only get paid £80 a day, they earn thousands from personal appearances and deals they wouldn't get if they weren't on the show, so producers feel in a strong position."
And in other TOWIE news, Amy Childs has said she could return to the show - although fans shouldn't hold their breath.
She told Digital Spy: "I've always said never say never with TOWIE. You never know, if it comes back in 10 years again, I could be going back on it.
"TOWIE's a good show. I wouldn't go back on it now, but maybe one day the [ex-cast] of TOWIE could come back and I'll be one of them."
We told you yesterday how Chloe Sims is reported to be writing her autobiography.
