Say it ain’t so! Megan McKenna, the best thing to happen to The Only Way Is Essex since Gemma Collins showed up selling cars, has been making noises about moving on.

But why? WHY? Well…

Did Megan cheat on Pete Wicks?

Last episode, Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell strongly implied that Megan had got together with her ex boyfriend while she was still with Pete Wicks. And then James ‘Arg’ Argent totally said that she had (although - how would he know?)

Sad Megs

Megan vehemently denies she did anything wrong and had a full on breakdown in Mummy McKenna’s arms. *sob*

“It’s absolute lies,” she said of the rumour Arg and Gatsby are spreading. And, “I wish I never, ever met that boy,” of Pete.

We’ve all been there, hun.

Pete the builder

The builder of friendships that is. Now that his relationship with Megan is done (no really, this time they mean it - unlike the other two times). Pete has decided he needs to build some bridges in Brentwood.

First on his list is Tommy Mallet

Tommy is basically our well-shod hero, we’ve mentioned that before right? And it came out that he sent Pete a very kind message when the pirate looked lost and alone after the Dublin trip.

“Me and you are sweet,” Tommy said as he forgave Pete. And it was bro-eautiful.

Chloe Sims, queen of Essex

Pete also has serious amends to make with Chloe Sims who he totally mugged off over Megan.

“It will be difficult for me to be friends with him,” said Chloe. “He really let me down.”

Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde’s baby

The Love Island pair had a very big question to ask Tommy.

“I think you are quite a person to look up to,” said Nathan, before asking the Mallet to be the little one’s godfather.

And Tommy said… 

Yes, and had a little cry, nawwwww. Plus, that totally guarantees Nathan and Cara more Towie time. No, you’re a terrible old cynic. 

Lauren Pope still couldn’t decide about Jon Clark

Look, Lauren. We’ll save you weeks of bother: he’s handsome but also kind of terrible. Mind you, Pops doesn’t have the best taste in men *cough* Lewis Bloor *cough*. Maybe the only way is up after that debacle.

Jon can’t handle the truth 

Or the situation at least, and decided he needed to know one way or the other. Which is actually fair, Lauren has been dithering for weeks. 

“I just get the feeling I’m not good enough for her,” said Jon. “I’m starting to doubt a relationship will blossom here.”

“It shouldn’t be this hard in the beginning,” said Georgia Kousoulou, which is very true.

It’s OVER

“I’m not the man that fits you. Let’s leave it there,” Jon told Lauren, finishing with her.

We did NOT see that coming. Wow.

The great Myles and Taylor Barnett ding-dong

The Barnetts (no relation - we think) met for the first time since their FIGHT, as Chloe Meadows has made it her goal to get the boys to be friends again.

“I haven’t lost my best friend because of you, I’ve lost him because of what he did,” reckoned Taylor.

Scouse style hits Essex

First it was the Scouse brow, and now this. We dig it. 

Gemma Collins and Arg are getting married yes / no?

“She keeps inviting me to her house, for sleepovers,” Arg said.

We can hear wedding bells. Or maybe that’s just a ringing in our ears and hope. So much hope. 

The strangely erotic boys’ shower scene

Yep, James Lock, Mike Hassini and Pete were almost naked. And we’ll be thinking about it alllll week long.
