The Only Way Is Essex star Billie Faiers has announced her engagement to boyfriend Greg Shepherd.

The blonde babe - who is also expecting her first child - took to Instagram to show off her diamond sparkler, accompanying the pic with the caption: "So so so happy to be engaged."

During an interview with OK! magazine, Billie revealed how Greg popped the question when on holiday in the Maldives, stating: "Even when we got there and I saw the two chairs with a bottle of champagne, I didn't suspect a thing.

"At the time he was just wearing his swimming trunks, so it's not like he had anywhere to hide the ring. He said: 'I love you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you and I know our baby will be just as beautiful as you are. Will you marry me?'."

Sister Sam Faiers - who was previously engaged to TOWIE co-star Joey Essex - also told the mag: "I'm so over the moon. I cried when she told me."

Billie also confirmed the gender of her unborn baby, admitting: "I had a feeling I was going to be having a girl. I'm so excited.

"Me and Greg want to have two girls really close in age so they can be just like me and Sam."
