Jake Hall has proved he's well on his way to a full recovery after being stabbed earlier this week,posting quite the smiley selfie from his hospital bed in Marbella.

The TOWIE star, who was invovled in quite the horrific altercationin a nightclub on Monday (May 31), took the moment to thank his fans for all of their support, not forgetting his ex GF Chloe Lewis.

"Managed to pull a smile for all the amazing people who sent nothing but love and wishing me better.. Your support has got me through this worring time but as I said you can't get rid me that easy!

"I'm slowly getting better my family @chloelewis91 and close friends have been here for me and love them very much. Gonna get a bit more rest now," he wrote.

Chloe had previously posted pics on Insta of herself enjoying a day out with friends while Jake was in hospital, sparking quite the backlash from fans questioning her loyalty.

However she took to social media last night to set the record straight, writing: "I don't feel the need to post all my feelings on social media... But instead of having negative people on my Instagram I thought I would. I have been with Jake for the last few days & I very much care about him. Big kiss to you! @jakehall01."
