Ellen DeGeneres Posts Oscars Behind The Scenes Video!
Features cameos from Jennifer Lawrence and Channing Tatum...
Ellen Degeneres has posted a behind-the-scenes video of her run up to the Oscars plus backstage footage of Oscar night itself.
In one scene Ellen is seen in a room of writers perfecting her script. Mentioning she hopes to snap a selfie that will break the record for most number of re-tweets, she adds: “I really hope that everyone jumps in this picture. That would be amazing if everyone really gets in.”
The end result, of course, was the most star-studded selfie in history that has broken records three times over. It has since been retweeted over 3 million times and, on the night, crashed Twitter.
Later, in the vid, Ellen can be seen chatting to J-Law backstage and tells her the pic crashed Twitter.
“One of us should have flashed a boob - we would have shut down the internet!” Jen jokes.
Whipping out her phone Ellen replies: “We have time” while Lawrence starts to lower her strapless dress before the video cuts to another scene.
Benedict Cumberbatch also appears in the vid getting caught in the backstage area while Ellen tries to go on stage in a massive Good Witch Glinda costume from The Wizard Of Oz.
“What way do I go?” Benedict asks, bemused. “I’m trapped by a massive fairy!”
“Don’t act like it’s the first time,” Ellen quips before finally reaching the stage.
