John Travolta In Oscars Introduction Bungle
Actor completely mispronounces name of singer Idina Menzel as he introduces her at Hollywood's big night...
John Travolta made one of the more-memorable gaffes at The Oscars night by accidentally re-naming the singer he was introducing.
The veteran actor appeared on stage to introduce Idina Menzel's performance of Let It Go from hit animated movie Frozen - but to the surprise of the assembled crowd and millions of TV viewers worldwide he said she was "the talented, the one and only, Adela Dazeem".
But it wasn't all bad for Menzel, because the tune went on to win the gong for Best Original Song later that evening and the film itself won the Best Animated Feature award.
And one enterprising wag was quick to set up a spoof Twitter account in the name of Adela Dazeem - sending a selection of cheeky messages featuring obvious mis-spellings.
THANK YOU, JORN TROMOLTO!
