Mark Wahlberg To Present Oscar With Ted

Actor to be joined by animated co-star as he hands out an award...

Movie star Mark Wahlberg will be presenting an award at The Oscars this year - with the help of his animated co-star from Ted.
"We are happy to make it possible for Mark and Ted to make their debut appearance on the Oscar stage," said the ceremony's producers, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. "And we won't deny that Ted used his pull with our host to get himself the booking."

The statement from Zadan and Meron also included a quote from Ted: "I'm excited to present an Oscar with Mark Wahlberg. I'm spending the next month learning to pronounce 'Quvenzhané.'"
Meanwhile Wahlberg has been telling MTV News' Josh Horowitz about the news that Entourage - which he executive produced - is to get [uuid=8c2532d4-ffb3-48e6-a570-8b848d88e6df]an outing on the big screen[/uuid].
"I always knew the fans wanted a movie. Everywhere I'd go, people are always asking me, 'What about Entourage? What about Entourage? When's the movie coming?'
"So it just took a long time. It took a long time to get it written, get it right, and we got a fantastic script. Warner Bros. is very excited about it. All the guys are excited.
"Getting everybody in the same place at the same time has been tough as well."
And he said the team behind the show had always regarded it as being a movie anyway.
"We always felt like it was a movie, but we had to just make these 30-minute episodes," he explained. "That was one of the one of the frustrating things. It always felt like we left the audience wanting more, which is a good thing in doing television.
"I think its story and its characters were a world people really missed and really enjoyed."
And he didn't rule out the possibility of appearing in the movie himself.
"You know me, man. If they want me, I'm in. I'm listening in, buddy."
