The Artist & Hugo Dominate The Oscars 2012

The Oscars last night (26th February).

Both films picked up five gongs each, with The Artist dominating the top prizes - taking home awards for Best Picture, Best Director for George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

The french flick became the first black and white movie since the 1928 film Michelle Williams and Viola Davisto win the Best Actress accolade for her role as Octavia Spencer picked up the trophy for Best Supporting Actress, while 82-year old Flight Of The Conchords star Bret McKenzie winning the Original Score statuette for Man Or Muppet from The Muppets movie.

The 84th Academy Awards took place at the Hollywood & Highlands Theatre where Billy Crystal was on hand to host the star-studded event.
