After Earth And Movie 43 Dominate The Razzies

Will and Jaden Smith's sci-fi movie and Peter Farrelly's sketch comedy take three awards each...

Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith have scored a triple whammy at the Razzie Awards, thanks to their appearance together in sci-fi flop After Earth.

The father-and-son team won worst actor (Jaden), worst supporting actor (Big Willy) and worst screen combo for their parts in M. Night Shyamalan's post-apocalyptic adventure.

And the movie was described during the ceremony last night as like "being stranded on Planet Nepotism".

But their haul was equalled by Peter Farrelly's comedy sketch film Movie 43, which was panned by critics and has notched up a lowly four per cent score on review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes.

The film took the Razzies for worst screenplay, worst director and for worst picture.

But at least the shame won't rest on a single filmmaker's shoulders - because it was directed by a whopping 13 different people and written by at least 19.

There was also an award for Kim Kardashian, who took worst supporting actress for her role in Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions Of A Marriage Counselor.

However there was relief for Adam Sandler - whose Grown Ups 2 had received eight nominations - because the movie didn't win a single category.
