The Saturdays Deny US TV Show Cancellation

Rep slams reports, saying there was only ever meant to be one series...

The Saturdays have denied claims that their dream of US pop stardom has been dealt a blow by the cancellation of their reality TV series.
The Sun previously reported that Chasing The Saturdays - which followed the girls' attempts at breaking America - is not being picked up for a second series by E!
A source told the paper: "It got killed in the ratings. US fans like drama and conflict but The Saturdays actually liked each other."
Viewing figures are claimed to have dropped as low as 100,000 for the first series.
However, a spokesperson for the band has since stated: "Chasing The Saturdays was originally only commissioned for one season.
"The show has since been picked up by 46 territories around the world. The head of E! is coming into the UK next week to discuss a Christmas special."
