The Stone Roses Set For Glastonbury 2013?
Festival organiser hints that reformed Manc-band could headline...
The Stone Roses could headline next year's Glastonbury Festival, Michael Eavis has confirmed in an interview.
The UK's biggest festival took a break this year, but will be back in 2013 - and organiser Mr Eavis has dropped a strong hint that the reformed Roses are being approached to play it.
He told the NME: "I would like them to come back at some point. Are they a possible headliner for next year? I think it is possible, yeah."
And on the subject of the festival as a whole, he added: "There's not a shadow of a doubt - it will be the best festival we've ever done."
The Stone Roses were recently reported to be planning a new album next year.
