Wiggo And Ennis Join Crowd At Stone Roses Gig
Gold medal-winning sports stars among famous faces at special event...
Olympic gold medal winners The Stone Roses in London last night.
The pair were among Team GB stars invited to the Adidas Underground event in Shoreditch, along with the canoe slalom gold medallists Tim Baillie and Etienne Scott, plus silver medallists Richard Hounslow and David Florence.
And Tour de France winner Wiggo was thrilled to meet "Modfather" Paul Weller, posing for photos with his musical hero - along with members of the Roses and other guests.
Wiggo is a keen mod and even has a collection of vintage scooters - alongside his pushbikes.
Other celebs at the bash, part of a series of events organised by sportswear brand Adidas to coincide with the Olympics, included Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, radio DJ Chris Moyles, model Daisy Lowe and actors Rosamund Pike, John Simm and Jaime Winstone.
It wasn't just famous faces at the gig though, because a number of lucky London-based Roses fans were invited by email - having previously attended the band's gig in Heaton Park, Manchester.
