The Streets meets idols Daft Punk and is lost for words.
Mike Skinner has said even he had the most starstruck moment of his life when he met Daft Punk this weekend.
The wordsmith, whos always got a cheeky rhyme or two, met the house legends at the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park after their headline performance.
The Streets mainman said: Oh my gosh! The Daft Punk show is unbelievable. Two robots playing BLAZING grooves from this huge pyramid made of TV screens.
Felix from Basement Jaxx introduced me to Thomas Bangalter (from Daft Punk) after as well, which was the most starstruck moment of my life.
Mikes moment didnt last long though as he explained: I was just standing there listening to what he was saying, enjoying the moment and then this girl started rattling on in my ear going on about The Streets blah blah
Skinner had a hectic weekend supporting Muse at Wembley the night before. He said: Wembley Stadium was really good fun. I always like a challenge and trying to entertain a rock crowd with rap music is exactly that, but they were really up for it in the end.
