The Streets star Mike Skinner has injured himself whilst crowd-surfing at a gig in Cambridge.

The Fit But You Know It rapper regularly jumps into the audience at his shows but it seems he may have learnt his lesson after having to call an ambulance.

In a blog- which includes a photo of him with ambulance-man Darren- Mike wrote:

"I have been ordered by a local paramedic that I need to give my arms a chance to recover. I have been getting unbelievable pain in my elbows People tend to tug me the f*ck about and punch me and twist me up. Its great fun at the time but kills like f*ck after. Really. Pain like I have never experienced."

Mike is just completing his UK tour in support of his fourth album Everything Is Borrowed with the last date tonight (Jan 29) in London.

He wrote on the blog: "Apparently I'm all good but need to stop the regular violent tugging and punching - yes punching, people punch me (and) scratch me."

The Streets heads to Australia for gigs next month and it sounds like he may give the crowd surfing a miss!
