The Strypes Go Top 5 With Debut Album Snapshot

Irish lads also supporting Arctic Monkeys on their upcoming UK arena tour...

Rhythm and blues rockers The Strypes are justifying the heavy hype after going Top 5 with their first record.

Their debut LPArctic Monkeys and London Grammar.

As most lads their age head back to school or college, the four members of The Strypes are following on from their acclaimed festival appearances by touring across the country.

On Thursday night, as their mentor Elton John performed just down the road at the Pixie Lott and Foo Fighters frontman and all-round rock legend Noel Gallagher and modern day mod Miles Kane are also fans.

And next month it will get even better for the teenagers from Cavan.

Ross Farrelly (lead vocals/harmonica), Josh McClorey (lead guitar/vocals), Pete O’Hanlon (bass guitar/harmonica) and Evan Walsh (drums) will be supporting Arctic Monkeys on their eight-date UK arena tour.
