Subways Want Chems To Produce Album

Frontman Billy Lunn hints at possible dance influenced second album...

The Subways want The Chemical Brothers to produce their second album.
In an exclusive interview with MTV.co.uk/access frontman Billy Lunn said: "I'm really keen on the idea of approaching the Chemical Brothers. I know it's really reaching a high target but I want to go for it. I think it would be really interesting." He also revealed how he's getting on with the follow up to Young For Eternity. "I've already pretty much written the second record and I'm looking for what direction we might take on the third, depending what production route we take on the second."
And Billy went on to profess a love for misunderstood dance genre happy hardcore. "I used to love happy hardcore," he said. "I remember my sisters coming home from raves and dance clubs I used to go in their rooms and steal all their compilation CDs! That's what really introduced me to rock music, just the energy."
