The movie reboot of classic cop drama The Sweeney has gone straight to the top of the UK box office chart on its first weekend of release.
The Nick Love film stars Plan B) as Flying Squad officers Jack Regan and George Carter - the roles made famous by John Thaw and Dennis Waterman in the 1970s.
It took £1,545,294 in box office receipts - beating ParaNorman into second place.
