The Vamps, Shawn Mendes Team Up For 'Oh Cecilia' Cover

The Vamps have teamed up with rising star Shawn Mendes on their next single.

The group confirmed they've collaborated with Mendes on a new version of Meet The Vamps album track Oh Cecilia - which is due for release on October 12.

The new improved version of the Simon & Garfunkel classic also features new lyrics written by Bradley, Connor, Tristan and James.

Mendes recently joined The Vamps on Austin Mahone's North American tour, along with X Factor USA act Fifth Harmony.

The 16-year old got his big break after being discovered on Vine and securing a record deal, with Shawn later topping the US iTunes chart with his first original track, Life Of The Party.

Oh Cecilia will be The Vamps fifth UK single, following Top 5 hits Can We Dance, Wild Heart, Last Night and Demi Lovato collaboration, Somebody To You.
