Australian Girlband The Veronicas have been accused by Courtney Love of wearing dresses that were stolen from her.

According to website Contactmusic, Love reportedly sent Twitter messages to the Untouched singers, Jessica and Lisa Origliasso after finding out they had purchased her clothing via the internet.

However, the Aussie twosome refused to return the alleged stolen items back to Love and have instead, made Kurt Cobain’s former wife’s pleas public by posting them on the internet.

Courtney, who is well known for not going down without a fight has responded to the girls actions writing: "I personally Twittered them, about these four dresses from a vendour on (website) 'Etsy', who had stolen some dresses from me. And I asked them to not physically wear these physical dresses.”

She added: "And they made those private Twits public. And it made the Australian national news, someone told me. I was like, 'What? Over a dress? That's retarded'. (sic)"

This is not the first time the singer has clashed with The Veronicas. She has previously accused the girls of copying her style.
