Adele's Cousin 'Impresses On The Voice'

Pop star's relative will be seen trying out for BBC talent show this weekend...

The cousin of pop megastarAdele is reported to have made a big impression on BBC talent show The Voice.

Georgia Harrup
, 27, will be seen giving a rousing rendition of Ray Charles Hallelujah I Love Her So on Saturday's show.
And she has revealed that she only discovered she was related to Adele when she was already a fan of the London singer's debut album 19.
She told The Sun: "One day my dad rang his family and asked how everyone was doing and they said, 'Adele is on tour, doing really well'.
"He asked what she was doing touring and they said, 'She's that Adele'.
"He came off the phone and told me that the person whose album I loved was related to me. I couldn't believe it, as she was always a massive inspiration to me anyway."
Georgia, from Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, is related to Adele via her dad Albie - who is the brother of Adele's grandmother.
But she has only met the pop star once - at a family bash when they were kids.
She said: "I didn't want to push my career in her face so she felt obliged to help me. If she made contact I think I'd just sit there in a daze."

The Voice hit the headlines last week after The Streets' Mike Skinner [uuid=780baa77-697c-4e0b-a2be-1ddf87901162]took a swipe[/uuid] at hopeful Leo Ihenacho.
