BBC Moved The Voice Dates To Keep Jessie J
Singer reveals that she begged for schedule re-jig so she could return...
During an interview on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, Jessie explained: "I was really gutted so I called the head of the BBC and said, 'Can we talk about this? I don’t feel right I am the only one not doing it'.
"So I sat with them and we looked at the dates. We jigged things around and I was then able to do it."
And in another interview with Capital FM, she explained that the "out" period coincided with the publication of her memoir, Nice To Meet You.
"Between my book being published and now, The Voice have very, very kindly been able to move some of the dates that I'm available because I really wanted to do it.
"We made it work and I always wanted to do it, so we made it work. I am going to be there, I never wanted to not do it. The only reason I couldn't do it was because of dates. They've now been organised, I am going to be there sitting in my chair bigging it up."
