Gary Barlow’s naked Let It Shine performance and Jennifer Hudson’s raw singing on The Voice thrill TV fans

TV viewers were spoiled for choice as The Voice and Let It Shine went head to head on ITV and the BBC.

And what a choice there was to be had – on the BBC, Gary Barlow gave everything for his new reality show.

The Take That frontman stripped off for an elaborate opening sequence that saw him sing and dance his way to the studio.

And it proved a hit with fans who flooded Twitter with positive comments with one fan writing: “Naked @GaryBarlow. What’s not to like?”

Meanwhile fans were impressed as The Voice transferred form The BBC to ITV with new twists and new coaches.

Jennifer Hudson proved her own star power as she blasted out Queen and David Bowie classic Under Pressure at the start of the show.

“Oh what an entrance,” one impressed fan wrote as J Hud made her presence known.

Fans of the show also saw a new twist as singing hopefuls that fail to impress the coaches are met with stone cold silence instead of in the past when they would turn to at least provide constructive criticism.
