Kylie's Debut On The Voice Is Ratings Hit

Aussie pop princess reigns over Saturday night TV schedules...

The return of The Voice has proved a ratings hit for the BBC, with the first episode of the new series last night pulling in more than eight million viewers.
Overnight data suggests that the talent show scored a whopping 8.37m viewers, asKylie Minogueand Ricky Wilsonmade their debut as coaches.
Its closest competitor was ITV's Splash!, which could only manage 3.45m viewers.
Meanwhile The Mirror reports that Kylie has been seen flirting with a 31-year-old singer she's mentoring in the show during a train journey from London to Manchester.
Fellow passengers apparently saw Leo Ihenacho, who used to sing with The Streets, hugging the 45-year-old pop star.
One told the paper: "He was talking about how he ran a competition during filming to count how many hugs he could get off Kylie.
"She asked him how many he had managed. He said something like 15 or 20. Then she asked him how many he'd aimed to get and he said 'I wanted 50'.
"So Kylie got up and said, 'Right then' and put her arms around him and began counting out loud saying, 'This is one, this is two, this is three.'"
