That first day at a new job is always a nail-biter, no matter how big you get - but Rita Ora appears to have taken her start on The Voice in her stride.

The pop star was sharing snaps from the auditions as filming got under way on the next series of the BBC talent show yesterday.

Posting a snap on Instagram of herself in make-up with a mask on her face, the 23-year-old singer wrote: "This mask better werk!! Day 1 blind auditions! I hope there as nervous as I am! #teamRita @bbcthevoiceuk #thevoiceuk #letsdothis!!!"

And she then posted a slightly redundant teaser shot of one of the show's trademark glowing red buzzers - writing: "Never guess what I was shooting all day today?"

Filming has been taking place at Media City in Salford, Greater Manchester - where the BBC has its major northern outpost.

The show is set to return to TV screens early in 2015 and Kylie Minogue recently gave her replacement her vote of confidence.
