The Voice Danny Attacks Simon Cowell TV Shows

Reality TV coach insists BBC show has better 'manners' than The X Factor...

The Voice coach Danny O'Donoghue has criticised Simon Cowell's reality TV shows for "humiliating" contestants.
The Script frontman launched a vitriolic attack on SiCo's The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent in an interview to promote the new series of the BBC talent show.
And he insisted that The Voice has "manners" and is the best chance for young hopefuls to break into the music industry.
"Kids watch TV and they take that to the playground. If you have a TV talent show and some kid goes up and performs and everyone just starts yelling 'Off, off, off, off, off!', you destroy that kid," Digital Spy quoted him as saying.
"You absolutely destroy them.
"On our show, we believe you should install some manners and the appreciation we have as coaches for great music. We break bad news in a good way.
"We don't give anyone false hope or expectations. We turn around if we like what we hear. That's the best chance you'll ever get in this industry of getting a good deal."
