The Voice Hopefuls 'Tweet To Reach Will.I.Am'

Contestants use social network to contact their jet-setting mentor...

The Voice coach Will.I.Am is rumoured to be having trouble fitting his role as a mentor into his busy schedule.

Will's team of hopefuls have reportedly had little time with their mentor in the run-up to the live shows and are only able to reach the Black Eyed Peas star by Twitter.

According to the Daily Mail, Will has managed just three 40-minute rehearsals with Frances Wood, Jaz Ellington, Joelle Moses, Tyler James and Sophie Griffin, while Team Tom have been treated to five one-on-one sessions with their mentor.

It is thought Sir Tom also handed out his private email address and those of his team to contestants in case of any questions.

Mind you, Will's jet-setting lifestyle explains why he's not quite so readily available.

On Thursday he tweeted: "Flying back to london...I went from london, san diego, san fran, london, atlanta, st luis in 4days."

Tyler James, who will perform as part of Will's team on tonight's show, is full of praise for his mentor.

He told the Mail: "We last saw him a few days ago. We can tweet him. The thing is, even though he's obviously busy, he'll go back to America for two days.

"He'll nip to some random country for a day and then he'll be back when we need him to be here. He's back with you, intense, making sure you're doing what you need to be doing. He's wicked."

Team Will and Team Tom will be [uuid=1d93d500-0dd7-4b28-baa5-ff7ed96155f9]singing live this weekend[/uuid] ahead of the first public vote-off.
