The Voice Leah Denies Romance With Karl
Favourite to win talent show says she's happy to have her first press rumour...
The Voice hopeful Leah McFall has denied that there has been any romance with her rival on the BBC talent show Karl Michael.
The Belfast fashion student, who is this week likely to land a top 10 single thanks to downloads of her recenty performance on the show, told Digital Spy that there was no truth to rumours of a relationship.
She said: "No, it's not true. Me and Karl are great friends, but that's all.
"We had a great laugh though because that's my first romance rumour. I don't think your career has properly started unless there's a rumour about you going out with someone else."
Bookies have made Leah the favourite to win the show - which has its semi-final on BBC One this evening.
She is on super-low odds of 1/3 to triumph in the show - and Digital Spy reports that one punter has staked a whopping £10k on her.
Ash Morgan is second favourite on 6/1 - with Andrea Begley and Mike Ward both on odds of 12/1 each.
Leah has also defended rival Cleopatra Higgins against reports of diva behaviour.
She said: "I really don't know where that's come from. Cleo is so lovely and she's quite motherly.
"She's strong-minded yes, but you need to be in this industry. And everyone gets on really well with her, she's totally fine. And also, she gets on great with Will. They are great together."
