The Voice Live Show Moved To A Friday

Talent show is rescheduled to avoid clash with Britain's Got Talent...

The Voice will now screen its live show on a Friday night to avoid clashing with Britain's Got Talent.
The BBC has confirmed that the first quarter-final of the current series will be brought forward to Friday, 7 June. This change in schedule will avoid an overlap with the final of ITV's Britain's Got Talent, which is due to be shown on 8 June.
So far Simon Cowell's show has been winning the ratings war.

Last Saturday, BGT pulled in 10.5 million viewers, with 11.9 million people watching at its peak - while The Voice attracted an average of 7.4 million viewers, peaking at 8.2 million.
An insider at The Voice told The Sun: "The decision is in the best interest of viewers. Given the length of the quarter-final it would be impossible to avoid a clash."
Simon Cowell had a dig at the BBC singing show back in April, suggesting that BGT would [uuid=2526de61-93fe-4664-b471-29e6231323b0]trounce it in the ratings[/uuid].
