The Voice Reject Vince 'Livid' Over Exit

Dumped singer criticises mentor Danny O'Donoghue...

Another of the contestants to lose out in The Voice.

Vince Freeman performed U2's With Or Without You on Saturday night's show but coach Danny O'Donoghue preferred the "fragile nature" of Bo Bruce's voice.

In rehearsals footage shown prior to the performance, The Script frontman suggested Vince should tone down his powerful voice in order that Bo could be heard.

Now Vince claims his hands were 'tied' by the Irishman.

In an interview with This Is Gloucestershire, the wannabe said: "I am livid about it. I was put in a difficult situation - I could go against my mentor, knowing that I would not go through, or I could do as I was told knowing I was having my hands tied behind my back."

"I don't have a problem with Bo but I'm not happy about how the situation was manoeuvred."

Yesterday Vince vented his frustration on Twitter, writing: "thought I was supposed to be mentored not handicapped #shouldnthavelistened."

According to Digital Spy, however, Freeman maintains that The Voice had still been "a fantastic experience".

Earlier this week, hopefuls Emmy J Mac, Ben Kelly and J Marie Cooper [uuid=b9000527-d59f-4123-99da-5015ce4be4af]voiced their concerns about how the show was edited.[/uuid]
