The Voice Star Bo Bruce Mourns Mother's Death
Talent show singer bereaved as cancer claims her mother...
The Voice finalist Bo Bruce has been left devastated by the death of her mother from pancreatic cancer.
The 26-year-old singer is in mourning after her mother Rosamond Winkley lost her six-month struggle with the disease.
A message on her website read: "Bo's mother Ros passed away peacefully in the night, at home, surrounded by loved ones.
"Bo would like to thank all of you for the messages of love and support, they mean so much to her. She promises she will be back before too long, for now she is spending quiet time with her close friends and family."
And Bo - whose real name is Lady Catherine Anna Brudenell-Bruce - wrote on Facebook: "Light a candle, thousands of us, light a candle."
Bo cancelled an appearance at the T in the Park festival to be with her mother last week.
She is reported by the Daily Mail to have been estranged from her father, the Earl of Cardigan, David Brudenell-Bruce, since her parents divorced seven years ago.
