Games giant The Walking Dead.
First-person shooter The Walking Dead Videogame, as it is titled, will actually be the second game based on the show - which is produced by US TV channel AMC.
An adventure game with role-playing elements was released by Telltale earlier this year and sold more than a million copies, as well as getting good reviews.
The new game will be based prior to the TV series and will follow Daryl Dixon and his brother Merle as they attempt to cross Georgia to reach Atlanta.
Players will be able to choose whether to tackle zombies head-on, or avoid them in a 'stealth' manner.
It is being developed by Terminal Reality, the studio which was responsible for Ghostbusters: The Videogame and more recently Kinect Star Wars.
The new game is expected to be released in 2013.
