The Wanted have revealed they were forced to cut saucy sex scenes from their new E! reality series, The Wanted Life.

Nathan Sykes - who is recovering from throat surgery - lifted the lid on the boyband's bad behaviour during an interview with Entertainment Wise, admitting: "I had to be a good boy because of my voice, I had to stop drinking so I did behave myself. So I was okay!

"There is a brilliant scene but I'm not sure if it's been edited but there are quite a few scenes that people are in and we've just gone, 'We can't show that!'"

When quizzed over whether the deleted footage was raunchy, Sykes replied: "Yep!"

The 20-year old went on to reveal that his co-stars decided to "leave a present for the producers" in one funny prank.

Sykes told the website: "There was also a confessional, kind of like a diary room, where a couple of people - I'm not going to say who - decided to go in there and leave a present for the producers, which was really, really funny.

"It wasn't me! I'm very sad to say that it wasn't."

He went on to add that the lads are "nervous" about the response the show will receive, adding: "Obviously we worry about how we're perceived.

"You don't want people to hate you and be like, 'You're that d**k off that reality show'. You're always a bit nervous."

The Wanted Life premiered on E! in the UK last night (June 24), with the series set to continue in the US on Sunday.
