The Wanted have confirmed plans for a new single and album following the success of hit tune, Walks Like Rihanna.

Max George and Co will release [uuid=c83e8413-bfa7-450c-9092-6eab1bd377d3]new track We Own The Night[/uuid] worldwide on August 11, ahead of their LP, Word Of Mouth, on September 16.

Speaking of We Own The Night - which has been described as a 'summer pop anthem' with 'killer dance beats' - member Nathan Sykes stated they band were "massively excited" about the song, claiming: "It takes us right back to the sound which everyone knows us for and sets the mood for the album."

Tom Parker added: "It's taken us two years to make this album and now that it's finally finished we are all really proud of the time and effort, not just that we put in to it but all the writers and the label too.

"We think it's our strongest album to date. We can't wait for our fans to hear it. They've been really patient but hopefully they'll think it's worth the wait!”

Earlier this month, [uuid=c83e8413-bfa7-450c-9092-6eab1bd377d3]the lads teased a snippet[/uuid] of We Own The Night during their E! reality TV show, The Wanted Life.

Word Of Mouth will also feature tracks Walks Like Rihanna, Chasing The Sun and I Found You, with the record available to pre-order from August 19.
