The Wanted 'Could Get Arrested' If 1D Feud Heats Up!

Rival boybands are set to come face-to-face in NYC on Friday...

The Wanted have addressed their apparent feud with rival boyband One Direction, joking they 'could get arrested' if things turn nasty when they meet in New York later this week.
Both groups are set to perform at the Z100 Jingle Ball concert at Madison Square Garden on Friday (7th December), with TW singer Max George recently [uuid=eb2f9fe3-5071-4c4c-994a-7205c0e988b6]stating to 1D that if they have a problem[/uuid], they can "come and see me in New York."

George has since been [uuid=c88afb48-a872-4d9d-893f-22c3294cd483]involved in a Twitter spat with Zayn Malik[/uuid] and when MTV News caught up with The Wanted at KIIS-FM's Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles, they were keen to state that their war of words does not not mean any fists will fly.
Speaking of the tensions between The Wanted and 1D, Max claimed: "It started off as plain fun I think and then I think one of them started getting a bit arsey and started getting a bit serious.
"We tried to play off still as a joke but then it carried on so we just put it out there, 'If you got an actual problem come see us in New York.' But I'm not sure they will, I think people have been in contact saying if we go near them we can have our Visas taken off of us and all this s**t."

Nathan Sykes then stated: "And get arrested, apparently."

George added: "Well we don't care. It's nothing we haven't done before so we'll see."

Directioners and TWFanmily will be eagerly awaiting the outcome between the two boybands and are sure to be on the edge of their seats at Z100's Jingle Ball concert, and this year, it might not be for the music.
