Speaking at a screening of their new E! reality TV show The Wanted Life, the Walks Like Rihanna singer also claimed that despite their friendship, LiLo - who is [uuid=191c0649-018e-4293-ab7a-296ca8fca97c]currently at court-ordered rehab[/uuid] - does NOT feature in the show.

When asked about the Mean Girlsactress during a Q&A, George stated: "I don't think she is [in it], no. She did pop over at one point to see us all but it was really brief.

"It wasn't for the show or anything. She was just in town and she wanted a little bit of support before her court case."

Max went on to explain: "That scene [in the first episode of The Wanted Life] where we were in the pub... we actually bumped into her ex-boyfriend, who said she was in town and needed a bit of support because she was a bit down about her court case.

"So we invited her over to the house for a bit, just to have a drink - which probably wasn't the best idea."

George added that quite a lot of drinking went on during filming for the reality TV series, telling the audience he nearly drowned on a boozy night out.

He revealed: "It wasn't that we weren't aware we were being filmed, it was just that we were so intoxicated we didn't really care. I owe a massive thank you to our night cameraman. He actually saved my life one night."

The Wanted Life hits the UK on Monday, June 24 at 9pm on E!
