What You Missed In Music: The Weeknd, Lady Gaga & Kristen Stewart
Lady Gaga Played A Special Christmas Gig On A London Rooftop
Lady Gaga does whatever she bloody well wants. This is a fact. A Planet Earth fact. Protest against Donald Trump outside Trump Tower while standing on a sanitation truck? She did it. (Good on her, but we have no idea where she got that sanitation truck.
Tour her new album Joanne across a load of tiny dive bars in the states to approximately 18 people? She did that too.
So it comes as no surprise at all that Gaga played her latest gig – not in a gig venue - but on top of a rooftop in London. 100 lucky fans were in attendance, and they were treated to a series of stripped back, acoustic renditions of ‘Bad Romance’ and new single ‘Million Reasons’.
“I love my London and UK fans so much, and performing my new music for them in such an intimate and spectacular location was the perfect way to celebrate the holidays,” Gaga said.
In other Lady Gaga news, the ‘Perfect Illusion’ singer will be performing on The X Factor on Sunday night.

The Weeknd Broke A Spotify Record
The Weeknd released his latest album, 'Starboy', earlier this month and we haven’t stopped listening to it since. Isn’t ‘I Feel It Coming’ brilliant?
And to make his November that extra special, Abel Tesfaye – better known as The Weeknd - is now officially the artist with the most streams on Spotify in a single day! Congratulations to him.
Monte Lipman, Chairman & Co-Founder, Republic Records said, “Spotify’s continued support of The Weeknd has now reached historic proportions and also reinforces the tremendous growth of global streaming."
Spotify's Global Head of Creator Services, Troy Carter echoed the excitement saying, "we're proud to have partnered with The Weeknd, his management and Republic Records on a phenomenal album. We look forward to breaking even more records together in the near future."
