A$Ap Rocky Blasts The Kickdrums Over 'ridin' Leak
A$AP Rocky took to Twitter to lash out at The Kickdrums over the leak for his song with Lana Del Rey. A$AP and Lana have been all over the web this week, especially after the rapper starred as John F. Kennedy in Del Rey's new video 'National Anthem'. 24 hours later a track with both of them featured online called 'Ridin'…
The A$AP Mob rapper then took to twitter to vent his frustrations that the single had got leaked: "That ‘Ridin’ song with me and Lana is not official, it’s not my real lyrics, that was a reference , the kick drums can suck my d**k!"
The Trill lyricist went on to state that the song was merely a freestyle and shouldn't be taken as an official track: "My bars are wack AF on that song bruh, that was a freestyle reference and they know that, f**k The Kickdrums!"
Nevertheless, the Brooklyn-based duo responded to the rising Harlem rapper, saying that they aren't behind the leak of 'Ridin' either: "We didn't leak that ‘Ridin' track. I was as surprised to see it on the web as everyone else."
Allegedly the song was supposed to appear on The Kickdrums upcoming mixtape 'Follow the leaders' but was cut upon request as A$AP wanted it on his debut album 'LongLiveA$AP'. The song has recently been renamed 'My B***h' - we will just have to see what happens with this one.
