Above The Law’S Kmg Passes Away
It has been reported that legendary rapper KMG The Illustrator has passed away. The MC was in the legendary group Above The Law; the west coast group had worked with Dr Dre, N.W.A after being signed to the late Eazy-E’s record label. Details of his death are currently unknown. KMG released on eight albums with the group and was respected as a founding member of hip-hop, with Slaughterhouse’s Crooked even saying that he influenced Dr Dre’s first ‘Chronic’ album. He tweeted: "Some people credit Above The Law with helping innovate the sound we all heard and loved on the first Chronic album. ?#RIPKMG?"
Ice T also tweeted about the loss, saying: "A very very SAD day in Hip Hop.. Respect to the homies. D*mn!!”
